WHAT   IF?
Everybody likes to take a break from serious modelling every once in awhile and let their imagination run wild.  A model of an aircraft or vehicle painted in  markings that it never really appeared in is called a "What If?" here's our collection.
What if the F-16XL had gone operational? Sam
What if the F-20 were a Wild Weasel? Monogram's F-20 kit is a popular 'What If?" Mine started when I noticed that an extra vacuformed F-105 back hump fit very well on the back of this kit. The F-20G Wild Tiger Weasel Shark was born. In addition, I gave it F-16C-like horizontal tails, extra cooling scoops, various antennae, a FLIR mount, a Gatling gun to replace the twin nose cannon, and topped it off with a Hill Gray paint scheme.  Dave
